Help Spread the Word

It may seem like a small thing, but one of the most valuable things you can do is help get information about environmental issues out to the rest of the world.

Going green has become a buzzword now. It’s good to see that we have finally realized the importance of environment and are willing to conserve it. But how are we to conserve our precious environment? While a lot of us may know the ways to go eco friendly, many of us still remain confused about proceeding in the right direction. As a matter of fact, going green is pretty simple. It’s all about doing our everyday work in a way that is eco-friendly.Contact your elected officials and corporate executives about issues that are important to you.

  1. Hi Greenstandard!

My name is Jodi Kansagor, and I work with Moonpads Reusable Menstrual Pads. I’ve been searching the web for great green products and green lifestyle blogs and yours came up. I love it! I love everything you’ve featured!

I just wanted to get in touch with you and let you know about my product, and put it out there that I am very open to having them reviewed. There is a lot of education to be done about the benefits (and the very idea!) of reusable menstrual pads, and your blog does a great job of letting people know about going green. Moonpads are made out of 100 % organic cotton (except for the flaps) and they’re hand dyed. They’re comfortable, fun, and easy to use. I’ve found that many women have never thought of it before- but when they are exposed to the idea it’s an easy choice to make- moonpads are far more comfortable than disposables, they save you lots of money (a great point in this economy!), they’re beter for your health and they’re WAY better for the planet- women in America alone throw away 20 BILLION disposable menstrual products a YEAR. And that’s just the United States! Disposable menstrual products are made of plastics that don’t go away, and the production of them sends dioxin (the world’s most toxic chemical) into our rivers and streams and ultimately into our food chain.

I would be happy to send you a sample of Moonpads, and I’d also be willing to do a blog give away. I’m also available for interviews of any kind.

And no, you don’t have to be a woman to believe in reusable menstrual pads! 🙂

Please feel free to check out our website at http://www.ilovemymoon.com to see some of the beautiful menstrual pads I’ve made.

Thank you so much for the good work you do.

    Peace,
    Jodi
